Over the March break my daughter and I decided to put our D.I.Y skills to the test. So we made homemade sushi.

Just like the standard sushi with a flip* We are totally obsessed with tiny, unique foods, so when we seen this process we went for it.

Prep: 20mins

What you would need :

Rice 🍚

White wine vinegar

seaweed

salmon sashimi

artificial crab 🦀

pre cooked shrimp 🍤

avocado 🥑

cucumber 🥒

Saran Wrap

2 flexible ice cube trays

soya sauce, ginger- optional

First we prepped the food, so we cooked the rice ( if you don't have sushi rice just add more water so it gets over done)

Cut your avocado and cucumber with a cheese cutter

Also cut your seafood into little rectangles

With the cooked rice add a teaspoon of white wine vinegar

Pre wrap your ice cube trays with Saran Wrap

start filling them with your ingredients however you would like

(Sashimi, avocado, seaweed, rice)

cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins

After refrigerated pop them out the trays and voila! Tasty mini homemade sushi 🍣

Enjoy!🤗
