The Perfect Weekend In London

Have you ever planned a weekend getaway, (even in your head?)

dreamed of going somewhere that more than likely you consider unattainable. Well, like most of you, there's precious destinations that when we think about them there is this underlying desire to just be there and experience all their wanderlust.

I too have dreamed of many places and one that comes to mind right now, is London! That's right, London,England.

Where walking around with an umbrella is highly recommended. Usually when planning a trip it's a lot of work. However here I have done most of the work for you! Planning where to go what to do in a different country and how to plan:

The Best Weekend In London on a budget!

You land in London and your super excited, great but where would you stay?

having put a lot of thought into this, the perfect weekend in London starts with checking into one of 3  budget savvy options:

My top 3 options would be

  1. Hostel ( hostels can run you about 20£ a night)

  2. B&B ( bed and breakfasts can sit around 40£ a night)

  3. Hotels like the the London Elizabeth hotel that's a little pricier if you still want luxury on a dime your looking at 70-100£ a night.

Comfortably checked in and relaxed!

Its time too sight-see of course London is known for its amazing historic monuments such as:

Big Ben- the clock with all the rave, seen in almost every romantic movie..how could you not check it out?

oh, but what is London without the London bridge, at least this time it wont be falling down... viewing London from this iconic bridge or even the tower bridge the view is magnificent

Head over to Buckingham palace and watch the changing of the guards or the Westminster abbey where Harry and Meghan are likely to get married.

View one of London's FREE museums there are plenty to choose from like the science museum and the museum of London

with all this free..don't miss the opportunity to try out London's FREE walking tours while working up an appetite stop off for some food and have a free picnic in Hyde park.

shop at Camden or borough markets for great food, and bargains while in Camden spend 30£ at B.Y.O.C where you can bring your own closed bottle of rum, vodka or gin so they can mix you delicious cocktails

take a ride on the classic red double Decker bus back to your room.

Sleep off the exciting day you just had because there is a whole other 24 hrs ahead we'll just call it London eats day.

Now that your all freshened up and with a positive piece of mind what are you going to eat?

Fish and chips

Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding

Bangers and mash

Full English breakfast

Afternoon tea

Beef Wellington

Food in London you can get at a steal:

Fish and chips at SeaShell of Lisson Grove.

Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding try the three crowns restaurant at no more than 15£ mouth watering and a menu that I just dream of tasting.

While in London you must have afternoon tea, one of the places I would like to go to is town house at Kensington about 30£/p to 40£ /p with champagne.

Full English breakfast at Parlour Kensal is 13.75 £ while at the Pavillion cafe your getting a steal deal for 10£

Beef wellington 32 £ at the Ship Tavern

Looking for Bangers and mash mother mash is the spot

If you only had a weekend to plan your "fake vacation" where would your destination be and what would you do?
