Anybody who knows me knows, I'm a fat kid I absolutely love food. I wanted to make a list of my Top 10 favourite places to nyam based off price, quantity 🤤 presentation/ uniqueness and taste . So let's dive right in, starting at #1 Wehliye

quietly located at parliament and Dundas is a very subtle East African restaurant their menu has gratifying options like the beef steak platter and chicken steak platter they also have goat ( if that's what your into) their platters come with delicious seasoned rice or spaghetti with light meat sauce , vegetables, pieces of potato, salad, soup and beverage all for 13$ can you imagine all that goodness for just 13$ the goat and fish will run you a little more sitting at 15$ however it's soo worth it! I highly recommend this cultured little haven if you enjoy East African food or would like to try something new this is the spot! for those who do not know this hidden gem is totally A-may-zing! Their ambient setting is just perfect for an engagement or a very intimate gathering I love that their upstairs is totally different from the lower 2 levels. The top floor is so whimsical with the fairy lights and outdoor feel and down stairs is definitely a little more close together a bit speed datish, nevertheless I love the layout. Open 24hrs 7 days a week their food options are so plentiful. With the menu starting at 12$ you can get pasta, salad and sandwiches within that price range and did I mention their food was plenty!

#3 Korean Grill house

Really? How can you go wrong? For measly 12$ you get a delightful all you can eat experience trying something super unique how bout paying to cook your own food, for the night owl menu you get chicken, beef, fish,squid and pork grill it to your perfection and BANG 💥 a tasty meal that your grandmother can't even attest too. It also comes with rice and sides.

#4 Captain Boil

This super rad spot hit the scene in 2015. Where it became Really trendy really fast. I mean unless your allergic to seafood who doesn't like seafood, basically you order the type of seafood you want, choose the sauce and they serve it to yu in a bag.. go ahead get messy! They have seasonals like crab, they also have shrimp 13.95$ /lb mussels 12.95$ and chicken at 10.95 etc

#5 Ginger

Please do not sleep on ginger and their mouth watering Vietnamese cuisines. At 10$ you can get a very filling meal. Something like the chicken beef and shrimp on rice with spring roll 🤤 or their pho.
